Home Work Hiccups (homeworkhiccups.in) is a brand of Skill Making. This website is owned, operated and managed by Skill Making. In this document, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Skill Making and its Home Work Hiccups brand, and “you” refers to anyone who visits this website or buys from it.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it (including for marketing), who we share it with and the choices you have. It is written with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 in mind.
1. Information we collect
- Order information: your first name, last name, email address and country when you download a free sample or buy a pack, plus details of what you ordered and when.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive a payment confirmation and reference number, but we never see or store your full card number, UPI PIN, netbanking password or CVV.
- Messages you send us: your name, email, phone number (if you share it) and the content of emails, contact form messages or WhatsApp messages.
- Usage information: basic technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and how you arrived at the site, collected through cookies and analytics tools such as Google Analytics / Site Kit.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Our worksheets are designed for children, but the website and checkout are meant to be used by parents, guardians and teachers.
2. How we use your information
- To deliver your order: to give you download access, email your download links and receipts, and keep a record of your purchases.
- To support you: to answer questions and fix download or file problems.
- For marketing: we use the information you provide (such as your name and email address, and your phone number if you share it) to send you updates about new worksheet packs, free resources, learning tips, festival packs, offers and discounts by email and, where you have shared your number, by WhatsApp or SMS. You can opt out at any time (see section 6).
- To improve the website: to understand which pages and products are useful and to fix problems.
- To meet legal duties: to keep accounting and tax records, prevent fraud and comply with the law.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
3. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us run the store, and only as much as they need:
- Razorpay (payment processing)
- Hostinger (website hosting and email delivery)
- Google (analytics and Search Console)
- Email or messaging tools we use to send order emails and marketing messages
We may also disclose information if required by law, a court order or a government authority, or to protect our rights and users from fraud.
4. Cookies
We use cookies that are needed for the cart, checkout and login to work, plus analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the store may not work without essential cookies.
5. How long we keep information
We keep order records for as long as needed to provide your downloads and to meet accounting and tax requirements (generally up to 8 years). Marketing information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Messages are kept as long as needed to help you.
6. Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe: every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. You can also email us or reply “STOP” to a WhatsApp/SMS message, and we will stop sending marketing messages. Order and download emails will still be sent.
- Access and correction: you can ask what personal data we hold about you and ask us to correct it.
- Deletion: you can ask us to delete your data, except where we must keep it by law (for example, invoices).
- Withdraw consent: you can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing done before you withdrew it.

7. Security
The website uses HTTPS encryption, payments are handled by Razorpay’s secure systems, and access to customer data is limited. No online system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
8. Third-party links
Our pages may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version.
